Setting per-property approval thresholds and MFA

Each property can have its own dollar thresholds. Anything above the limit holds for owner or manager approval — with multi-factor confirmation for high-value work — before any vendor is dispatched.

The question

Can I require approval before vendors are dispatched?

How thresholds work

Per property, you can set the maximum quote amount that may be auto-approved (commonly the diagnostic fee plus a small repair budget). Anything above that hard-stops in an approvals queue.

Approvers are configured per property — one or more managers, owners, or asset managers. Different categories (electrical vs. EV vs. IoT) can route to different approvers.

MFA on high-value approvals

Above a second, higher threshold the approver must confirm with a one-time code sent to their verified phone. The approval is logged with the user, the device, and the IP that confirmed it.

What happens if no one approves

Quotes hold in the approvals queue until they're approved or rejected. If urgency is critical and an approver isn't responding, the system escalates to the next configured backup approver and notifies you.
