How your repair history stays attached to the property
Every diagnosis, quote, work order, photo, invoice and receipt is recorded on the property — not on a personal account — so the history follows the home through ownership and management changes.
How does ServiceFixes keep my repair history with the property?
Why we attach history to the property, not the person
Most homeowners change phone carriers, email addresses, and property managers more often than they change houses. If the repair history lives in someone's inbox or on a vendor's hard drive, it disappears the moment that person stops being involved.
ServiceFixes stores the canonical record on the property itself. Your name is associated with the requests you opened, but the work record belongs to the building.
What gets recorded
Date, time and channel of the original request; the triage notes; every quote, line item and approval; the technician dispatched and their license details; before/after photos; parts and serial numbers; the invoice and the payment receipt.
All of it is timestamped and append-only — entries can be added or annotated, but never silently changed.
Exporting your history
Any time you sell, refinance, or hand the building to a new manager, you can export a PDF service-history report from the property record. The new owner or manager keeps the same record and continues adding to it.
